Hunters

Hunters are judged on many facets; strides, attitude, willingness and jumping form of the horse. In the Equitation over fences classes, you are also judged for form as well.

Jumpers

Jumpers are 2 successive rounds. If your first round is clear, no poles down and in the time allowed, you advance to the jump off. There you will compete against other clear 1st rounds. The winner will have the fastest time of the second round (jump off) or if there are no clear 1st rounds, the fastest time of the 1st round. Getting more popular are the Derbies which have more jumps and more extensive courses. In the derby it is fastest, cleanest 1st round only.
